Re: Wait but Why

I do not know what the truth is, but it scares the living shit out of me that such crucial questions are not more openly, seriously and widely debated. Too bad cryonics lacks the infrastructure of organ harvesting for transplant, replete with quick response and transport too and from the ends of the...

Re: trying to find article

Thanks, but now I am confused. I could swear there was that prediction, but now I do not find it.

trying to find article

I came across an article online by Aschwin de Wolf, predicting that because of those magnetic nanoparticles, Cryonics is now poised to enter the main stream. I wanted to read it fully, but now I can't find it again. Can anyone help?

This seems like an engineering problem. Who might be consulted?

All of this drama is going over my head. There is too much at stake.

Re: Small planes

To find a solution, first understand the problem. Perhaps the real problem is cryonics reclusion, going it alone. Cryonics desperately needs to become integrated into mainstream emergency response. Then cryonics service providers would not so routinely find themselves thwarted reinventing the wheel ...

Re: Tissue cryopreservation with inductive heating

As Samuel Johnson observed: "Nothing … will ever be attempted, if all possible objections must be first overcome." and that "so many objections might be made to everything, that nothing could overcome them but the necessity of doing something." I therefore pose the question: Is t...

Re: The Death of Death in Cryonics

If death is defined by irreversibility, then the frontier of death is continually redefined. Is not then the concept of information theoretic death, salient in the endeavor of cryonics?

Re: transportation?

I must appreciate your integrity and honesty, because that was certainly not what I wanted to hear! But remote transport in all of it's nightmare logistics, to which we are all so largely abandoned to our own devices, is nevertheless standard in the practice of cryonics. The position of Oregon Cryon...

transportation?

At first glance it seems to me that beyond setting a budget most broadly, transportation is all too quickly glossed over. I need to discuss this, please.

Re: Suggestion/Hospitals/Cryonics Patients in their new own facilities/hospitals in their future

As I understand it, a hospital in China now has a cryonics wing. The larger topic might be business models and strategic partnership, for breaking cryonics isolation. Find my own case study at http://www.FoolQuest.com/kriosgrad.htm
