I live in Vancouver and found out about your company through the organizer of lifespan BC I've been considering Alcor and was curious to know how your guys are doing... would you consider posting information (on an ongoing basis) such as how many "patients" you have and how many people have registered just so newcomers can get a sense of the state and stability of the organization.

This post seemed so legit except for the porn link at the bottom which I deleted. Although the poster was deleted, the name of the poster remains and they were obviously a spammer. This seems legit because it's a copy of a post from 2015. If this had been a real post, then I would have replied that we don't accept members, so that number is not available. Since we are so exclusive, we must be great, right? Our list of cases is here:
http://oregoncryo.com/caseReports.html
and is clearly out of date, but we've only had a handful of cases since then. Our website is now getting out of date since our building is complete. I can start to remove all the bold warning signs about us not being able to perform reasonable services.

I am skeptical as Hell of business oriented outfits like Alcor. That said, I worry that you have the reverse problem - not enough customers. If you really only have on the order of six patients, you can't possibly have earned enough to become self a sustaining just from your cryonics practice. It's theoretically possible that someone uncomfortable with the culty corporate nature of Alcor might come to you instead, only for you to have to sell out to them because of financial difficulties down the line.

I still think you ought to consider specializing in aldehyde brain immersion on the cheap. There's absolutely a market for it. But what do I know? I do know that you come off as the most professional cryonics expert without veering into weird culty propagandism.
