We now have a plan for membership. We are revamping the website to be less technical and more marketing. Membership will be a very affordable $150 yearly payment that will be the same regardless of age. All payments toward membership over the years will result in an equivalent discount on services when you finally get preserved. In other words, you are not wasting your money on membership because it will go toward your preservation. The cost of performing quality services for remote patients in other cities will be significant. But it will not be as astronomical as Alcor because our base preservation fee starts very close to zero, so the cost is almost entirely for actual standby related services. Some people will get life insurance and others won't. We will not require it as a condition for membership. In the case where someone truly cannot afford our low membership fee, we will let them remain a member without making a huge deal about it, but the benefits they receive could be reduced. We are trying to come up with a variety of benefits that membership could entail in order to tempt people to become members. We are now staffed well enough to handle phone calls from members for issues like billing and paperwork. We are also staffed well enough to offer remote services. Our membership growth phase has begun.
